Would have been a 5 star review if the music and sound effects worked as they should. At first the game had no issues but after a few ios updates the publisher stopped updating their game and now you cant hear the music that is supposed to accompany your trick or treating and monster bashing. Ive beaten the game on PC and trust me when i say you miss out on allot without the sounds. So overall id avoid this one.

The game is great but the controls are crap! You can appreciate the visuals if your had is in the way all the time. The should implement the joystick as an option for control

I played this on the PS3 and thought it was hilariously amazing! An excellent port that is easily worth the money. Pick up the expansion also, it is just more awesome!

Played this on xbox last Halloween. Great integration to iPad, no issues. Controls are easy and intuitive. Funny writing, entertaining for myself and my nieces and nephews too.

Good controls, cute graphic, nice music. Everything about this game is good and enjoyable. For 4,99 theres no reason stoping you from purchasing this console-quality game.

The grubbin on ice level crashes a lot

A fun little RPG with good writing and endearing charm.

Great gameplay, really funny characters and a great plot that merges events so that you can never quite tell if the whole thing is in the kids imagination. Requires some sit down time but can be saved and picked up without having to remember much. Highly recommended.

Ive played this every Halloween since it first came out, and now Im able to continue my tradition on my iPad. I had to adjust the settings to make it easier to control, but otherwise its a fantastic port!

I have seen this game around and always just passed it up because it looked to childish for me, but when I seen it on the AppStore for a buck , how could I not get it. So glad I did to, because its a ton of fun! At first Im like... Ok .... Then Im like OK.... NOW IM LIKE O MUTHA-EFFIN-KAY! I love it. Only thing that would make it better would be a joystick control, because the touch controls are more annoying then they should be.... But besides touchy controls this is a must try.

The game closes every time I try to play the game

Loved this game and played though the main game and the DLC. However there is a known crash bug in the DLC affecting anyone who loses the final boss battle and then saves the game. This save game will be unload-able and will crash the game every time. Therefore you can never finish the game. Please fix DoubleFine and then its back to 5 stars.

I cant say anything good about the game because it crashes every time I select a slot I want my money back or an update that fixes this but until then Im not a fan I would love this game IF it would work please fix this soon

Just an awesome rpg. Plays well on iPad Air, but what doesnt. Original and funny. Lots to collect. A great game. I just home we will see a sequel or expansion pack soon.

We have played this game for years on the PS3 and were excited to get our REAL candy crush on when it came out on iPad. Unfortunately we were so frustrated with the controls and constant tapping the middle of our screens that we dont play it at all. So sad. If there were an option for d-pad or joystick controls we would be all over it again, all the way to Big Bones final take-down. Ahh, good times. Whatya say Double Fine? By the way, why did you never come out with versions for Christmas or summer? So many options for costumes and battles!

Please fix this for IOS 9. Theres no music whatsoever. There are sound effects, but no music at all.

Bland. Repetitive. Thinks its funnier than it is. And the controls make it almost unplayable on iPhone and still bad on iPad. Not worth your money.
